Fusion Foundation creates culturally responsive education, mentorship, wellness and career-exploration opportunities that strengthen self-esteem and help young people recognize their ability to learn, lead and create.

Why this work is personal

Long before becoming a licensed cosmetologist and educator, LeAnn understood how deeply hair can affect confidence and identity. Growing up with long, thick, curly hair, she taught herself how to braid, straighten and care for it.
That purpose became more personal when her sister entered foster care. LeAnn saw a gap—not in care, but in the knowledge, tools and culturally responsive guidance available to adults caring for textured hair.
Fusion Foundation and Style Me grew from her commitment to close that gap without shame or judgment.

Fusion Foundation’s board brings experience in beauty education, public service, law, school governance, community leadership and organizational oversight.
President
Crystal brings more than 20 years of beauty-industry experience as a cosmetologist, esthetician and educator. She is passionate about helping beauty professionals grow their skills, confidence and businesses.
